Product Details

Tropical & Tigers presents a repeating pattern in the tradition of great decorative print — Bengal tigers moving through palm fronds, tropical leaves, and lilies in an illustration style that sits somewhere between botanical and textile design. Three tigers are clearly present at full scale; a fourth enters from the right edge. Each is given proper attention: the amber, the stripes, the deliberate, unhurried gait.

The ground is warm sand — a tone that sits naturally with linen, rattan, raw plaster, and pale timber. The foliage runs through deep green, dusty olive, and soft grey-green. Pale pink flowers introduce a note of lightness. Thin geometric gold lines overlay the composition and give it a contemporary edge without displacing the warmth of the whole.
