Founded in Finland in 1916, Karhu first gained international acclaim in the 1920s, thanks to Finland’s exceptional track team, famously known as the Flying Finns. Since then, Karhu has remained a leader in athletic footwear innovation, developing the first air-cushioned sole in the 1970s and introducing Fulcrum technology in the 1980s.
